Allan Johnson Obituary


Allan Joel Johnson, 49, of Baldwinsville, passed away Monday, November 4 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was surrounded by his loving sister, Michelle, nephews Anthony and Max and nieces,  Adrianna and Teagan by his side. Better known as AJ, he was an electrician, a musician, an avid concert goer, great big brother, wonderful uncle and a super friend to all that  knew him. Growing up, AJ was very into hockey and played at the fairgrounds for Midstate Youth Hockey. He was on several teams, traveled all over Canada and he was a great goalie. After He graduated from CW Baker High School, he moved to Montana and lived in Big Sky for many years until his father passed away in 2004. He came back to take care of his mother. He took a job in Syracuse at Dinosaur Barbecue and worked there for several years. He also worked at the NYS Fair at the Gianelli booth. He always looked forward to that. AJ was predeceased by loving father, Daniel, loving mother, Joyce, His Nana and Papa, Edmund and Minnie Campos and Amazing Aunt Sis. He left behind his sister and brother in law, Michelleve (Stephen) McSweeney and nieces and nephews Anthony, Adrianna, Max and Teagan; his great nephew, Dominick Joseph. special family friends, Carrie Ann Huff-Smith, Kate DiFabio, Laura Long, Terri Yamrose and Rosanne Taylor; several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family that loved him and so many friends, including, Ed D, Jon L, Joe K, Chrissy M and Angel A who surrounded him with love. Please join us for a memorial service Sunday November 10, with calling hours from 11 to 12:30 and a short vigil At 12:30. After the vigil, family and friends are invited to join in a luncheon celebration at JP’s Tavern, 109 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville NY 13027. :Leave condolences for the family on the Tribute Wall
