Eleanor S. Howells, 86, of North Syracuse, passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital on January 3, 2020.. She was born in Little Falls, NY to Paul and Anna Sefcik. Eleanor graduated from CCBI as a Medical Secretary and later worked as an X-Ray Technician.
She was married to Donald Howells in 1954 and was happily married for 65 years. They had four children. Eleanor later became a teaching assistant in Special Education with the North Syracuse Central School District where she was employed for 18 years. She and her husband enjoyed many winters in Myrtle Beach, SC.
She was predeceased by son, Christopher, sister, Betty Adasek and brother, Paul Sefcik.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Donald; daughter, Lynne (Ron) Yackel; sons, Gregg (Lisa) and James (Wendy); grandchildren, Morgan and Alec Howells and a niece, Pam Venuti. Per her wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. Burial will be private.
