Mary Arroway Obituary

Mary A. Arroway, 88, of North Syracuse, passed away November 22, 2018. She was born in Syracuse, the daughter of Anthony and Julia Smith Adler, Sr., and was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. She was co owner/operator of Arroway Trucking. She was predeceased by her husband, Francis G. Arroway, her daughter, Mary Barr and her siblings, Anthony Adler, Jr., William Adler and John Adler, Sr. She is survived by her children, Karen Arroway, Steven Arroway, Julie (Frederick) Dinet, Kevin Arroway, Tim (Sandy) Arroway, Shirley (John, Jr.) Betts and Frank Arroway, Jr.; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Back, Mabel Arroway, Ellen Adler and Ellen Adler; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services are Tuesday at 9:30am in Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home and 10am in St Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.
