Scott S. Smith

Scott S. Smith, 57, of Bridgeport, passed away October, 5, 2019 with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Auburn and served in the US Army. He was employed by Dumac Business Systems for 20 years.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Sarah Smith, his father, Sherrold Smith and his siblings, Mark Smith and Lynn Bull.

He is survived by his wife, Debra (Rosenthal) Peterson-Smith; his children, Robert Smith (Anne Marie Bernardoni) and Lauren Smith both of Auburn; his step-children, Jacquelyn Peterson-Grace (William) of Richmond, VA and Geoffrey Peterson of Syracuse; his mother, Florence Smith of Auburn; his siblings, Karel Smith (Roger Fox) of Vero Beach, FL and Janice Smith of St. Louis, MO. Several nieces and nephews and the kids, Jake and Daisy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Calling hours are Thursday from 3-7pm at  Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse.

Contributions can be made to the Sarah E. Smith Memorial Scholarship Fund through the CNY Community Foundation.
