Allen J. Charron

Allen J. Charron, 78, of Mattydale, passed away on Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital with loving family by his side. Allen was born on July 19, 1940, the son of the late Leo and Beatrice Charron, Al was a member of the Elk's Lodge and Moose Club. Allen drove truck early in his career and went on to own several businesses, including A & M Transport and Molly's Place. Allen also enjoyed watching SU Basketball.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Judy McDermott. Allen is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Jane "Molly"; his sons, Joseph Charron, David (Anne) Charron and Charles Husted; five grandchildren; five great grandchildren; his sister, Jean along with several nieces and nephews from Elmira.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-6pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow at 6pm. Leave a condolence for the family on the Tribute Wall
