Arlene E. (Schneider) Becker

Arlene Becker, passed away peacefully in her sleep April 8, 2024. She was a woman who lived and breathed for her family. Arlene was always worried about others before herself, a true gift to those who knew her. Arlene lived life to its fullest thru simple pleasures like visiting, chatting and spending meals with her loved ones. She especially enjoyed time with her grandsons; Ryan Mattiacio, Michael Stewart and Jason Humphrey along with her 5 great grandchildren, Karah, Olivia, Harper, Braxton and Josie. Her beloved husband, George, always referred to her as “R” and they were inseparable until his passing. Married for over 50 years…together they had 3 children, 3 grandsons and 5 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her sister, Dora Harke, her two daughters,Sandy Humphrey & Cinthia Stewart. Her strength and perseverance through life is something to be truly admired. May she rest in eternal peace with her husband, George and son, Al. She will be missed beyond measure but we know she is finally healed and our comfort is in her watching over us all. 

Calling hours will be held from 5-7pm Thursday April 11th at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
