Barbara (Davison) Hymes

Barbara D. Hymes, 89, of North Syracuse, passed away April 16, 2019. She was born in Massena, NY and was employed by New York Telephone where she worked as a switchboard operator, later as a Drafter and left to start her family.  Barbara loved to ride motorcycles and play golf. She enjoyed crafts and counted cross stitch and would crochet hats for the babies in the NICU. Barbara also loved to read and was an avid Yankees fan. She was predeceased by her husband, Victor in 1996. She is survived by her children, Robert Hymes and Susan Churchill both of North Syracuse. Funeral Services are Friday at 10am at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 209 N.
