Beverly Perkins

September 20, 1932 – November 25, 2024

Beverly Perkins went home to be with the Lord on November 25, 2024. A devoted servant of God throughout her life, Beverly was always ready to pray for those in need and offer a kind word or a helping hand.

She was the last surviving child of Walter R. Buffum Sr. and Mildred Sherman Buffum. Beverly was a loving mother to her five daughters and a cherished friend to many. She found joy in mentoring youth at her church, nurturing her garden, sewing, bird watching with her granddaughter, and cheering on her beloved New York Yankees.

She is survived by her daughters: Shari Allen (Marlin Scott), Kathy (Brian) Weischedel, Nancy (Kent) Mosier, Barbara (Gary) Duncan, and Jean Perkins. Beverly also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and will be deeply missed. 

A private service will be held with her family.  

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages acts of kindness in her memory.
