Carole Robinson Obituary

Carole A Robinson, 68, of Watertown, NY died peacefully surrounded by those who loved her on Thursday, January 30, 2025, after being transported to St. Joseph Hospital for critical care in Syracuse, NY. Carole was born on December 21, 1956, to Nelson and Bertha (Martin) Shova of Malone, NY. She attended the local schools and graduated from Franklin Academy High School in 1974. Travels took her to Los Angeles, CA after high school where she discovered her passion for caring the injured and elderly as a home health aide. She returned to Watertown, NY to continue her education at Onondaga Community College in Syracuse, graduating with honors, and began her career as a nurturing Physical Therapist Assistant. Over the years she has helped numerous patients recover their strength and mobility. From the time that she had returned to New York, she gave birth to a son, Marty Robinson, of Watertown, NY and later to a daughter, Kimberly Robinson, of Watertown, NY. Carole was a loving and devoted mother always putting her children's care and needs ahead of her own, supporting them in any way that she could. Somehow she managed a very ridged schedule between her children, work, and her education. She had a sense of humor and enjoyed making family and friends laugh and she enjoyed singing along to music and loved to dance. Carole is survived by her two children; two grand children, Kylar and Gracin their father, Richard Hayes, a sister and brother- in-law, Karen and David Hyneman, of Watertown, a sister-in-law, Bonnie Shova of Virginia, nieces and nephews; Chad Hyneman, Matthew Hyneman, Bernadette and Ricky Williams, Yvonne and Robert Deshaies, Rose Shova and Brian Benfield, and great nieces, Chloe Hyneman and Alyssa Benfield, and great nephews, Lucas Hyneman, Dakota Benfield, and Brantley Williams.

Carole is predeceased by her mother and father, Bertha and Nelson Shova, and her brother, Rodney Shova. A quiet family get together will be held in the summer.

Leave condolences for family on the Tribute Wall.
