Catherine R. (Ponto) Turo

Catherine (Ponto) Turo, of Liverpool, born June 14, 1935, passed away August 9, 2020. She was employed as a cosmetologist for 37 years. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick R. Turo and her daughter, Rosalin J. Turo.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn A. (Jim) Hollister and Mark F. Turo; four grandchildren, Michael DeRosa, Matthew DeRosa, Christina Remillard and Jessica Hollister; great grandchildren, Kylie, Ashley, Angelo and Christopher; her brother, Frank (Joanna) Ponto.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday Aug 17th at 10 AM in St. Margaret's Church. Entombment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-4 PM at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
