Dakota was one the most gentle, compassionate spirits to have been by everyone’s side. He was quick to help anyone he could. He loved to have fun, be with his friends, he loved to laugh, and smile, he loved hiking, but most of all, Dakota loved wrestling. Dakota was a varsity wrestler during his high school career at G. Ray Bodley, and it was that career he was the most proud of. He won many competitions, and plenty of medals (that he loved to show off). His laugh was infectious, he would start to chuckle and the room would soon follow. He was sensitive to others feelings, in a way the world would never understand. He was a light that shined brightly in everyone’s lives. His hugs were soft, full of warmth and comfort. His I love you’s were genuine, and always welcomed. Dakota touched many lives, and he will be missed by many. There aren’t enough words in the world to describe the impact he had on the lives of those he knew. Dakota was a brother to some, a son to two. An uncle to many, nephew to even more. A friend to almost everyone. He loved ever so deeply, and was loved ever so deeply. He is survived by his loving parents, David Diezel and Tammy Diezel, his three siblings, Savannah Diezel, Jonathan Diezel and Samantha Diezel, as well as many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
