Dana (Previtire) Wright

Dana Wright (Previtire), 43, of Syracuse. It is with great sadness to announce Dana’s unexpected passing on July 15, 2023. Her greatest passion was the medical field as a LPN. Working at several local nursing homes and as a private home health care nurse. She specialized in patients with dementia. Her love and compassion for the elderly will truly be missed.

As a passionate animal lover she loved her pets Zeus, Frankie, Duke, Baby, and Mario like family. Dana always helped who she could without judgement and rooted for the underdog. Her departure leaves a profound void in the lives of all that loved her. 

Dana is survived by her husband Michael Wright; son Michael Previtire-Wright; daughter Autumn Wright; brothers Bill Previtire; Jeff Previtire; sisters Melissa Previtire-Bouvia; Tiffany Previtire; and nephews Moe, Austin, Shayne and Gage. 

Calling hours will be held on Friday September 1st from 4-7pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse. 

Donations in Dana’s name can be made to the local SPCA or an animal shelter of one’s choice.
