Diane Irene Brunet-Kopp, 83, of North Syracuse, NY passed away on August 6, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse surrounded by loved ones.
She is predeceased by her daughter, Cindy L. Kopp-Vogt and stepson Chris Kopp he is also predeceased by her sister Linda Brunet, brother Lucien Brunet Jr, husband Bernard W. Kopp and former husband Earl G. Kopp.
She is survived by her children; Bernard E. Kopp, Janice L. Kopp-Miles, Jennifer D. Kopp-Wolfe (Peter), Steven R. Kopp (Lynn), and stepdaughter Linda Kopp-Hill (Dave). She is also survived by her sisters, Anita Brunet-Richards (Rod) and Geraldine Brunet-DeLucia (Dave Sr.) and has several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Dianne was born on June 30, 1939 in Syracuse, NY, to her parents, the late Lucien Brunet Sr. and the late Irene Dziados-Brunet. Dianne graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1957. Some of her employment included being a field engineer at Burrough's Corporation while living in Denver, CO. After moving back to Syracuse, NY, she often babysat. Dianne always had a strong passion and love for her family and friends and her family and friends loved her just as much. She had a huge heart and was always willing to help everyone. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved playing board games with family, playing bingo, and going to the casino. She also loved fishing, music, and dancing. Dianne also had a strong passion for watching all sports on TV. All of the SU teams, Buffalo Bills Football team, and NY Yankees baseball team were her favorites. She also loved watching NASCAR racing, with Jeff Gordon being her favorite.
