Dolores M. Patello Young,

June 7, 1943 – November 4, 2022

Dolores Mary Patello Young, of North Syracuse, New York passed away peacefully on 11/4/2022.

Dolores was a graduate of Assumption Catholic Academy. She retired from the Young Insurance Agency in 2005. Dolores was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease in 2015 and spent the last few years at Iroquois Nursing Home. She loved her family tremendously and could light up a room with her humor and wit. She had a fiery soul and loved to bake, shop and spend time with her family. 

Dolores is predeceased by her Husband, Dean A. Young, Father, Nunzio Patello, Mother, Clara Arns Patello and several Aunts and Uncles. 

Dolores is survived by her children, Dean M. (Rhonda) Young and Debra A. (Frank) Vadala, Granddaughter, Alyssa C. Vadala, Sister, Kathleen Patello and several Nieces and Nephews.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, November 8th from 4-7 at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, North Syracuse, New York. Church services will held at St. Rose of Lima Church of North Syracuse on Wednesday, November 9th at 10:30am with a burial at Woodlawn Cemetery to follow.
