Doris J. (Beckwith) Wiers

Doris J. Wiers, 81, of Syracuse, NY, died suddenly Monday November 14, 2022. She was born September 26, 1941 to Laura (Magee) and Hollis Beckwith, both deceased.

She worked previously for Pinkerton and LB Security as a security guard which she enjoyed doing.

She is survived by her siblings, Kenneth, Debbie, Jerry and Carol and was predeceased by Richard, Gerald, Bette and Johnny.

She was also predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Charles E. Wiers and predeceased by her granddaughter, Brianna. 

She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Wendi), Holly Cox-Peczynski (Walter), Colleen Cox (Terry Boyea) and Craig (Janella), foster children, Dorothy and Betty. She had 11 grandchildren, Edwin, Jacquelyn, Maria, Kelly, Charles (Char), Robert, Kenneth (Booda), Richard, Johnny, Jeffery and Daniel and she also had 30 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild who all loved her and will miss her dearly. She was the backbone of the family.
