Eva M. Phinney-Nies

Eva M. Phinney-Nies, 91, of Brewerton passed away July 15, 2019 with her loving family by her side. She was a former Postal Clerk at the Clay Post Office. She was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Phinney, her second husband, Mervin Nies, her son, Thomas Phinney and her grandson, Thomas Phinney, Jr. Survived by her beloved children, Timothy (Becky), Terry (Margaret), David (Debra), Gail, Wendy and Susan Phinney all of Clay; 37 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services are Thursday at 10AM in Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse. Calling hours are Thursday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Eva's name can be made to Hospice of CNY., 990 7th North St. Liverpool, NY 13088.
