Evelyn June (Quinn) Barrett was born August 9, 1931 and raised in Brooklyn. Evelyn worked as a secretary at Warner Brothers Studio's inManhattan, as a baker at Sweetheart Market and her toughest job, raising five sons. She was known for her strong will, endearing laugh, spunk, bingo skills and love for family.
Evelyn is predeceased by her son, Kenneth Barrett, her mother, Mildred Casey, her father, George Quinn and her brother, Robert Quinn.
She is survived by her sons, John (Karen) Barrett, Paul (Kimberly Neff) Barrett, Chris (Susan) Barrett, Kurt Barrett and grandchildren, Aaron (Samantha) Barrett, Aubrey (Dan) Bresnahan, Nicklaus and Ian as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 4pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse.
