Francis A. "Grumpy" Tarson, 73, of Syracuse, passed away July 30, 2023.
Grumpy was born in Syracuse, New York on October 9, 1949 to the late Victor and Jane Tarson. Grumpy resided on the North Side of Syracuse all of his life. He was Owner of Short Stop Market, Next Times Inn and Tristar Painting. He also is a retired truck driver. He loved baseball, soapbox derby, motorcycles, old cars and even animals. He was a dedicated Husband, Father and Grandfather.
He was a genius that could do and build anything from houses to cars to gourmet meals. He loved traveling and eating shrimps and clams on the ocean. He was tough as nails with a true golden heart. He is deeply loved and cherished and will be sadly missed
He was preceded in death by his beautiful Wife, Sandra Tarson.
He is survived by his Two Daughters, Francesca Tarson and Lisa Tarson; Son, Victor Tarson; Eight Grandchildren, Marissa Tarson, Monica Landry, Miranda Landry, Alexandrio Taurozzo-Rivera, Amiya Ince, Victor Tarson, Carmello Tarson, Alicia Tarson; 4 Great Grandchildren; 5 Sisters and 3 Brothers.
A private memorial service will be held.
