Fred Jackson Coleman, Jr.

Fred Jackson Coleman Jr. passed away peacefully the morning of Thursday, August 21, 2025. Born in Lewisville, Arkansas on September 13, 1935, Fred (also known as “Jack“) was raised in a progressive household in southwestern Arkansas. His love of cornbread, black-eyed peas and all forms of soul food stayed with him throughout many moves across the country as an employee of GE, settling down for the last time in North Syracuse in 1974. Fred was predeceased by his wife Mary Kotzer Coleman. He is survived by his children Robert, Barbara, Frederick (Chris Jackola) and Susan (Mike Gridley) and his  grandchildren Angelina, Carina, Alex, and Rachel (Barry Walters) and great-grandsons Lucas and Simon. Private burial was in North Syracuse Cemetery.
