Gerald A. Cancredi

Gerald (Jerry) Cancredi, 73, passed away peacefully at his home on March 19 with his loving wife by his side.  He was born in Yonkers, New York on October 12, 1949 to his parents, Gerald and Patricia Cancredi.  

    Jerry worked retail in the electronics industry for most of his life, until he retired.  He was an avid train collector but his real passion was playing golf where he was commonly referred to as “Pingman”.  He was a true friend to all. 

    He is survived by Patricia, his wife of 52 years; his children, Brett (Autumn), Angela Renna, and Jeffrey (Kelly); his eight grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic, Scilla, Ava, Ellora, Jake, Lucas and Ethan, whom he cherished; his sister, Regina; and his brother, Greg. Calling hours are Thursday March 23rd from 4-7pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held in Peekskill, NY in the near future. Donations in Gerald’s name can be made to Hospice of CNY.
