Heidi Lynne (Hansel) Plumb

Heidi (Hansel) Plumb, 8-20-1966 - 11-15-2023. Heidi passed away on Wednesday after a very short but intense battle of cancer. She passed surrounded by friends and family and is finally at peace. Heidi was born in Cooperstown, NY and graduated from Mt. Markham Central Schools. After getting married in 1990, her and her husband, Jeff, had two daughters, Elizabeth Ashley-Dare and Stephanie Rosada. Stephanie married Wayne Sponable in 2022. Elizabeth married David Chervenak Jr. in 2023, whilst doing so, added David's son Derek to the family; additionally welcoming Evan Paul Chervenak in March 2023.

Heidi loved helping family, friends, and her community as well as touching the lives of her many residents throughout her career. When she was not working, she loved spending time with her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She left her legacy in all of her personalized blankets! 

In 2010, she won her battle with Breast Cancer. Sadly, this time was not meant to be the same outcome. She was predeceased by her Uncle Sheldon and Aunt Hope Hansel. As well as Uncle Charles Winchell. She is survived by her mother, Charline Winchell, brother, Josh Winchell and sister, Jill Baer as well as many other friends and family. She will be dearly missed and will be forever in our hearts.

Calling hours for Heidi are Tuesday November 21st from 2-5pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse with a service to follow at 5pm. Donations in Heidi's name can be made to East Winfield Cemetery, East Winfield, NY or The American Cancer Society of Central New York, 6725 Lyons St., East Syracuse, NY 13057
