Jacalyn A. Halter

Jacalyn A. Halter, 59, of Cicero, passed away February 9, 2022. She was born in Buffalo and grew up in Liverpool, NY. She graduated from Liverpool High School in 1980 and joined the Army. She was Military Police from 1980-1986. She joined Niagara Mohawk in1986 and worked until her retirement. Jackie was a foster mother for rescue dogs.

Jacalyn was predeceased by her father Alan G. Halter. She is survived by her mother, Cynthia E. Hodgson of Cicero; her siblings, Jeff A. Halter of Central Square, John F Halter of Syracuse, Joseph G. Halter and Sabine Halter of Amberg, Germany; two nephews, Daniel Halter and Kevin Wyman of Amberg, Germany; her aunt, Esther Gainey of Buffalo; several cousins and several step siblings, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews; best friend, David Mathewson, as well as many close friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday February 20 from 2-5pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N  Main St , North Syracuse
