James T. Klink, 90, of Bridgeport, passed away August 10, 2018. He was born in Syracuse and was a US Army veteran during the Korean War. James was employed as a greenskeeper at Liverpool Country Club for many years. He was an avid golfer and was a former member of American Legion Post 188. He was predeceased by his brothers, Robert Klink and John "Jack" Klink. He is survived by his children, Robert of West Palm Beach, FL, James (Annie) of Bullhead City, AZ, Kevin of Mattydale, Gretchen (Dan) Bova of Central Square, Lisa (Bill) Millard of Constantia, Keith (Patty) of Bridgeport and Scott Clancy of Raleigh, NC; 9 grandchildren, Jamie Klink, Derek Bova, Valerie Bova, Stephanie ( Justin ) McGrath, Dana Bova, Shane ( Allison ) Lightenfield, William Millard, Christopher ( Taylor ) Hall, Jessica ( Bill ) Clements; 2 great grandchildren, Dylan Lightenfield and Damien Hall; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Friday at 10am in Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at the funeral home, 209 N.
