Jane Marie (Notarfrancesco) Zello

Jane Marie Zello, 90, of Liverpool, NY, died Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Cottages at Garden Grove surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Zello or “Mamma Z”, as she is affectionately known, was a devoted wife, mother and “Nana as well as a chef for Syracuse University sororities. She was locally known for her Italian biscotti‘s at the regional market in Syracuse for several years.

Jane was a communicant of Assumption Church and was a member of the Liverpool sports boosters in the 1980s and also catered weddings and small affairs.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Rocco Zello in 1987. Surviving are her three sons, Lawrence (Mary Ellen Harvey) of Liverpool, Christopher (Kim Fullenwider) of Palmer, Alaska and Marc Anthony  (Concetta Sortino) of Liverpool. Jane had three grandchildren, Rocco Anthony Corrado Zello, 

Christopher and Janet Zello; her sisters, Virginia Calcara and Theresa Annesi both of Syracuse;  predeceased by sister, Raphaella Stark.

Services will be Wednesday 10 am at Assumption Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.

Calling hours will be 4 to 7 pm Tuesday at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St.,  North Syracuse, NY
