Jimmy Lee Brown, Jr.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jimmy Lee Brown Jr., who departed this life on December 6, 2025. Jimmy was a cherished son, father, brother, and friend whose presence, love, and strength touched every heart that knew him.

Born on January 28, 1989, Jimmy grew into a man remembered for his loyalty, his warm spirit, and the quiet but powerful way he supported and uplifted others. He loved spending time with his family and friends—laughing, joking around, and creating memories that will forever live in their hearts. One of his greatest joys was fishing with his dad, a pastime that brought him peace, laughter, and connection.

Jimmy’s laugh was one of a kind—full, contagious, and unforgettable. It will forever be missed and forever remembered by everyone who had the honor of hearing it.

Jimmy’s greatest pride and joy were his children. He was a devoted and loving father to, Makayjah McCray, Jordyn Wynn, Jimarion Brown, and Rhiley Wynn, and his stepdaughter Demiya Dyous. He shared two daughters, Jordyn Wynn and Rhiley Wynn, with his former significant other, Nikki Wynn. His love for all his children was deep, unwavering, and reflected in everything he did. He is survived by his mother, Robin Preaster, his father, Jimmy Brown Sr., and his stepmother JillAnn Brown. He is also survived by his brothers, James Stackhouse, Tyler Bague’, Marquis Brown, Anthony McGlown, and Wayne McGlown, his sisters, Precious Preaster, Alyssa Bague’, Jimmia Brown, Inez McGlown, Jimasia Brown, and Deja Brown. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, additional family members, friends, and his class of 2007, who will all miss him dearly and cherish the memories they shared.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandmothers Martha Preaster and Sally Brown, and his grandfathers Obedie Preaster and Dewey Harrison Jr.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing Jimmy is at peace, and that his spirit will continue to live on through his children, his family, and everyone whose life he touched. Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.
