JoAnne C. (Barnholdt) Baker

JoAnne C. Baker, 68, of North Syracuse, passed away December 11, 2020. She was born in Watertown and retired from the Village of North Syracuse Parks & Recreation.  JoAnne loved camping, “sneaking” off to the casino, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her brother, John Barnholdt. She is survived by her husband of 48 1/2 years, Terrance Baker; her children, Timothy (Katie) Baker and Ryan Baker; grandchildren, Abilene, Evelyn, Landon and Cole; her siblings, Nancy (Wayne) Cogan, Michael (Beth) Barnholdt, Susan Squire, Patty DeLuca, Sandy Barnholdt and Diane (Dave) Kufel; nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero. Burial will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 PM at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
