Joanne “Dolly” (Cannellos) Georgiade

Joanne “Dolly” Georgiade, 83 of Baldwinsville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 23,2023, surrounded by her loving family. Dolly was born in 1939, in Buffalo, to the late Constantine & Helen Cannellos.

Through the years she worked for the John H. Mulroy Civic Center in Syracuse, Evzone Security, and managed Tri-County Mall in Baldwinsville. Dolly was an award-winning writer with Toastmistress, who also loved singing, dancing, acting, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Dolly will be forever remembered for her love of life and family, witty humor, compassion for all living things, and most of all her two sons George & Nicholas.

In addition to her parents, Dolly was predeceased by her husband George Georgiade (2015).

Surviving is her sons, George (Eleni) Georgiadis, & Nicholas Georgiade; grandchildren Konstandinos & Melina Georgiadis; brothers John Cannellos, & Richard (Theresa) Cannellos, sister Constance (Philip) Yanulis; along with many cousins, nieces, nephews & dear friends.
Commemorative luncheon at 12pm, Sat., 4-1-23, at Bella Domani in N. Syracuse. All are welcome. Flowers may be sent to Bella Domani on Saturday
