Joanne L. Green

Joanne L. Green, 66, of Clay, passed away Friday, April 29 surrounded by family after a battle with emphysema. She is survived by her children, Chastity, Patrick, Angel and Michael: Two special ladies, Christine Ascioti and Kari Hudson; 17 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her mother, Joan Green of Clay; her sister, Kathleen of Fulton; her brother, Robert (Nancy) of Florida; Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  She was predeceased by her father, George L. Green, Jr.; brothers, Charles Green and George L. Green, III.

She was a mother to all of her children’s friends and will be missed by many! She retired from Syracuse developmental center where she served as an aid to special needs. She loved her job and was very dedicated to the ones she served.

There will be a Mass in her honor at Pope John XXIII Roman Catholic Church, 8920 Soule Road, Liverpool, NY 13090 on Saturday May 7, 2022 at 10 am. Family will have a small gathering after the Mass.
