Jody Ann Mulkey

Jody Ann Mulkey, “Cricket”,  a devoted common-law-wife, mother, grandmother, a pillar of the community, passed away on August 22, 2025 surrounded by her loving spouse and family.  She was born in Sayre,  Pennsylvania on February 2, 1963, A loving compassionate women with a heart for animals and family. Jody was pre-deceased by mother and father, Betty and Monti Mulkey.

Jody is lovingly remembered by her common-law- husband, Nelson Dawson, her children, Tia Laureano, Brandy Hayden, Jeffrey Sobles II, Paige Dawson, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two cats. She leaves one loving sister, Debby Lafever. Her memory lives in us as an honor and a privilege to share her stories.

Calling hours are Thursday August 28th from 5-7pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY.
