Obituary
Jolene Haggstrom, age 67, b. Dec 9, 1955, Highland Park, Michigan, to Joy Arlene (Forester) and Harold Richard Kivi, passed away Sunday December 18 at 1:57pm, after a brief illness and many long-term physical ailments.
She spent her childhood years between Michigan and Portland, Oregon where she had numerous family members. She moved with her family to Texas in 1982 and finally settled on Onondaga County, New York in 1984 where she resided for 38 years.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, writing, photography and baking. She loved nature, animals and family history. She spent her later years working with the elderly until she was physically no longer able to do so. She was passionate about her work and left a lasting impression on those she knew.
She is survived by her sister, Sandra (Harry) Kalin; her children, Kirk (Susan) Haggstrom, Anika (William) Shank and Ingrid Rose Stonecipher, eight grandchildren, a niece and nephew and numerous family friends whom she considered family members. Private services.
