Julia Marie (Steere) Klock

Julia Marie Steere Klock , 83, passed away July 4 at home surrounded by family and love. She was born in Syracuse on August 10,1938 to Edmund A. Steere, Sr. and Ida Lamb Steere. She graduated from Bethlehem Central High School, Delmar, NY in 1956 and attended Syracuse University.  She graduated in 1976 from Onondaga Community College and 1985 from Empire State College.  She had a long career as a Registered Nurse at CCBI and New York State.  She enjoyed spending time with her family at her camp on Skaneateles Lake, traveling (especially cruising), casinos and Syracuse University sports.  She was predeceased by her brother, Edmund A Steere, Jr. in  2015; She is survived by her daughter, Lori V. Klock, son Stephen A.(Sheri) Klock and granddaughter Makayla Juliet (Kyle Bezner) Klock.  Graveside service Saturday, July 9, at 10:00 AM at Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.  Friends may call after the service in the parish hall at St. James Episcopal Church, 96 East Genesee Street, Skaneateles, NY.  Donations  may be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
