Karen J. "Kari" (Schwartz) Michel

Karen "Kari" J. Michel, 71, of North Syracuse, passed on Friday June 16, 2023 with her family by her side. She was born in Syracuse, daughter of the late Irving Schwartz and Lillian Hanreck.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Kari loved to bowl and play cards. 

She was predeceased by her sister, Rickie N. Clements. She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Michel, daughter, Tina M. (Elbert) Russell, her step-children, Deanna, Bobby, Jr., David and Joey Michel, two grandchildren, Dakotah J. Russell and Sevanna J. Russell as well as many other grandchildren, great grandchildren, her brother, Dean "Bonehead" Peiropan, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Carnegie Catering, 3770 Brewerton Rd.,North Syracuse from 2pm to 6pm on June 24, 2023.
