Margaret Taylor Obituary

Margaret C Taylor age 80 went to the Lord October 17, 2025.

Born Margaret Cornelia Richardson in Hamilton Bermuda on March 14, 1945, daughter of James Kenneth Richardson and Grace (Outerbridge) Richardson. Maggie lived with her family at Shelly Bay, Bermuda.

Maggie came to US with her family and attended North Syracuse HS. She was class president (about two years behind class president Richard Gere)

Maggie earned her bachelor’s degree at Syracuse University (and later earned two master's degrees). After graduation, Maggie taught English to Mexicans in Mexico City and later returned to Bermuda as an executive with The Bank of Bermuda with her first husband, Robert Martin Taylor.

Due to Robert’s cancer, they decided to return to Margaret’s family property in North Syracuse. Maggie took a job at The Home Depot in East Syracuse as an appliance specialist so she could devote her off hours to caring for Robert.

After Robert passed in 2008, she left the property and rented a room in a multi room house in Woodchuck Hill Rd., Jamesville, NY

In 2010 Margaret met Edward C Arseneau arguably the love of her life. Together they returned to North Syracuse where they together undertook a remodeling program on the property.

Margaret was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease approximately 2021, and Edward was 24/7 caregiver. Margaret was predeceased by her older brother, James Rogers Richardson and her older sister Elsie Anne Richardson (end of life not confirmed)

Margaret had no children. She is survived by her nephews James Rogers Richardson Jr James Gregory Richardson of Utica, NY and Jonathan Ryan Richardson, Houston Tx and several great nephews and nieces.

Margaret was best known for her singing talent composing over 40 original songs and singing them with the most beautiful voice. Margaret and Edward loved to connect with new people in their lives through her singing

She also had the most beautiful and endearing smile full of grace and loving kindness in her heart to everyone she knew.
