Marlene S. (Skelton) Houck

Marlene Houck formally of Hamilton, NY passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024 at St. Luke Nursing Home Oswego, NY.

Marlene was born May 18, 1935 in Utica New York daughter of William and Katherine (Windheim) Skelton.  She graduated from Utica Free Academy in Utica.  She worked for many years as a Bank Teller for NBT bank in Sherburne and Earlville.  

Marlene spent many years as an active member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hamilton serving on the alter guild. 

Marlene is predeceased by her parents, her sister Shirley Swisher and brother Darryl Skelton. 

She is survived by her daughters Stacey (Gerry) Tarbell of Volney, NY Kathy Maille of Spring Lake NC.  Grandchildren Jason (Stephanie) Tarbell of Fallston, MD; Matthew (Bryanna) Tarbell of Lumber Bridge NC; Rebecca Maille (Josh Craig) of Chateaugay, NY and Jamie (Edward) Macialek of Spring Lake NC; great-grandchildren Luke Tarbell and Brayden Craig and several nieces and nephews. 

There will be no calling hours.  Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Hamilton, NY March 27th at 12:00 noon followed by interment in the Memorial Garden at the church.
