Martha Gay Albanese

We are sad to announce the passing of Martha Gay Albanese of Syracuse. She passed away peacefully at Francis house surrounded by loved ones, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her parents Harry and Majorie Parnagian. She is survived by her daughter Lisa Marie and son in law Michael; her four beautiful grandchildren Lindsay Arianna, MacKenzie Elise(Karl, Jacob and Kaylee), JonMichael Joseph, and Delaney Ireland; Three great grandchildren Michael, Jayden and Aubriana; Her sister Victoria Ann Schiano of Virginia Beach; niece Dina Spiva and nephew Alfred(Lisa) Schiano; Great nieces Abigail, Eden and Penny Schiano; Great nephew Thomas Spiva; Lifelong family friend Karen Ferrara who has been our family’s greatest support system for the last sixty years. 

Martha spent her career in the hospitality industry. She was the banquet manager at LeMoyne Manor and continued on to retire from American Food and Vending. 

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Martha's name to Francis House. Marthas family would like to thank Francis House for their compassion and phenomenal care for her in her final days. 

Services Monday March 13th at Sears Middleton Mathewson from 4:00-6:00pm.
