Michael S. Clum, 43, of Syracuse, passed away on March 6, 2019. Michael was born in Norwich on February 17, 1976, to Robert and Deborah (Balcom) Clum. Mike graduated From Norwich High School in 1994 and received his Culinary Degree from Johnson and Whales University in 1996. He then spent several years working as a chef on cruise ships before serving in the U.S. Navy. After discharge from the Navy he lived and worked in Syracuse until his death.
Michael is pre-deceased by his paternal grandparents, Stanton and Lovina Clum. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Deborah Clum, maternal grandparents, Herman and Freda Adams, and his sisters Debra Ann Kammerer, Christine (James) Lanfair and Jennifer Clum, as well as two nieces and two nephews. There will be a memorial service in the spring.
