Michael H. Manske, 77, of Baldwinsville, NY passed away on September 22, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Syracuse, NY. He was born in Sheboygan, WI on November 14, 1945 – the son of the late Alfred and Verna Manske.
He enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduating high school, serving during the Vietnam War and stationed in Taiwan. After being honorably discharged in 1969, he was employed by Texas Instruments. With his entrepreneurial spirit, he also had a successful small busines, Mike’s T.V. & Radio Repair. He finished his career with Inficon Inc. of Syracuse, NY.
Michael enjoyed astronomy and had a lifelong love and passion for Ham radio operations. Ham radio was introduced to him by his late uncle, Marvin Eichorst.
Survivors include his children Lawrence Manske (Joanne) of Taberg, NY, Dawn Trach (Mark, deceased) of Baldwinsville, NY, and Richard Manske of Baldwinsville, NY. Grandchildren include Zachary Trach (Danielle), Jessica Trach (Collin), Alicia Manske (Christian), Ashley and Ashton Manske, Larry and Phil Spaziani. Many nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Willow and cats Gunner, Scout and Leo.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Joan Leonhard and Dorothy Collins, his wife Barbara Manske and son Phillip Manske.
To know him was to love him. It was both an honor and a privilege to be acquainted with this man. The memories of him will be held close by loved ones and cherished. In accordance toMichael’s wishes, no services will be held.
