Michael Pence Obituary
Michael E. Pence, 68, of Mattydale, passed away September 8, 2019. He was born in Terre Haute, IN. He was a graduate of Wiley High School and Indiana State University. He was employed by F.W. Webb Co. Water Works Sales.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Catherine (Ryan) Pence; his children, Christina (Joel) Pence-Campbell of Mattydale, Jon Pence (Tiffany) of Syracuse and Eric Pence of Mattydale; daughter-in-law, Christina Bayton-Pence; grandchildren, Skyler, Danielle, Mckenna, Layla, Annabella, and Elliana.
He enjoyed sports and coached his children’s little league teams. In his young adult life he was an avid bowler. He loved NASCAR racing and later in life he found a love of Dirt Racing and spent many evenings at the Brewerton Speedway. He was a lifelong Mason.
Calling hours will be Thursday September 12th from 6-8pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St., North Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's name can be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088.
