Michael J. Schuster, Sr.

Michael James Schuster, Sr., 60, a beloved son, father, brother and Proud PaPa.passed away on June 5, 2025, in Syracuse, New York. Born on March 13, 1965, in Oneida, New York, he was the beloved son of James Schuster and Barbara Miller to whom he will be united with.

He is survived by his sons, Michael Schuster, Jr. and Marc Schuster of Syracuse, NY, Mitchell Schuster of Savannah, NY, Mason Schuster of Fulton, NY. He is also survived by his daughters, Crystal Muraski and Erica Muraski of Syracuse, NY, and 2 daughter's in law, Hope Jennings and Elizabeth Cook.

His memory is further cherished by his sisters, Karen Perry of Syracuse, NY, and Pamela Simmons of Chittenango, NY.

He was joyfully blessed to have 12 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 1 nephew that he cherished so much.

A man of many talents and passions, Mike found joy in simple pleasures fishing and camping with his family, cheering on the NY Yankees and Chicago Bears, and most of all, embracing the role of being the best PaPa to his grandkids. His legacy will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him, remembered for his boundless generosity, infectious sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.

A House Painter and a Warehouse Supervisor at G&C Foods for a better part of his life, Michael dedicated himself to his work and touched the lives of many through his professionalism and sincerity.

A man of great Character and devotion, Mike will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to honor Mike's life on Sunday June 22nd from 12-2pm at the Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212
