Patricia C. (Cole) Blad

Patricia C. Blad, 88, formerly of LeRoy Road, North Syracuse, passed away peacefully at Samaritan Summit Village in Watertown, New York, on June 29, 2024 surrounded by her family.  

She was born on December 9, 1935 in Collinsville, Connecticut to the late Robert and Myrtle Cole.  Patricia loved gardening, golfing, and spending time with family, especially watching all her grandchildren’s sporting events.  She was a member of the Wa-Noa Golf course where she was the ladies club champion.  She was also very active with the Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts of America.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Blad, herparents, and sister Marilyn Kaminsky.  

She is survived by her children, Karen Hartman (Bill) of Watertown, NY, David Blad (Rosa) of Raleigh, NC, Brenda Cussen (John) of Clay, NY, and Eric Blad (Rick), of Palm Springs, CA, her grandchildren, Bryan (Kim) and Travis (Tasha) Hartman, Lauren and Morgan Cussen, Ian and Sabrina Blad and great grandchildren, Grayson and Beckham.   She is also survived by her sister Catherine (Charlie) Reagan of Vermont.

There will be no calling hours and a service will take place at 11am on Monday, July 8th at Sears-Middleton-Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, North Syracuse, NY.

Contributions in Patricia’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of ones choice.
