Patrick Neil Riley

Patrick N. Riley, 58, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 12, 2022.  He graduated from North Syracuse High School in 1982 then went on to Syracuse University and then Columbia College. He received his MBA from Le Moyne College. He worked for many years in Risk Management, most recently as Vice President at Siemens Financial Group in Atlanta. He enjoyed watching all kinds of sports but always cheered on his hometown team, the Syracuse Orange. He loved field band competitions and rescuing and caring for all sorts of dogs and even his beloved feral cats living in his backyard.

He is predeceased by his father, James Riley, his grandparents and numerous Aunts and Uncles. He is survived by his mother, Joan Riley of North Syracuse, NY and his siblings Dennis (Kim) Riley of Latham, NY, Mary Beth Riley of North Syracuse, NY and Cathleen (Mark) Smith of Concord, NC. He is also survived by nieces Meg Riley of Boston, MA and Emily Smith of Concord, NC and nephew Ethan Smith of Concord, NC. Also survived by numerous beloved cousins and many friends and past and present co-workers in NY, NJ, and GA.

Visitation will occur on March 16th from 5pm – 7pm at Sears Middleton Funeral Home at 209 N Main St North Syracuse, NY. A funeral mass will be held on March 17th at 10:30am at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church 409 South Main St., North Syracuse, NY. Burial will be immediately following in St Mary’s Cemetery in DeWitt, NY. Following graveside services, the family will receive guests at Bella Domani Catering and Banquet at 5988 E Taft Road North Syracuse, NY
