Paul Siegel Obituary

Paul William Siegel, 64, of Clay, NY peacefully passed away on January 22, 2026 from complications due to Lewy Body Dementia. Born to Frederick and Rita Siegel in 1961. He worked for the New York State Thruway Authority and the Onondaga County Department of Social Services.  

Paul was predeceased by his parents, his sister, Brenda Siegel, his step-son Travis DeOrdio. 

He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Paula, his step-daughter, Tracey DeOrdio, his daughter-in-law Tracie DeOrdio, his granddaughters, Mackenzie, Macey and Harley DeOrdio all of Valley/Nedrowarea, brother, Eric (Jeanette) Siegel of Jamesville, sisters Dr. Bonita Siegel of Clay and Beverly (Thomas) Cadwell of Cicero, nephews Nathan (Kari) Siegel of Port St. Joe, FL, Bradley (Morgan) Siegel of Syracuse, niece Erika Siegel of Pittsburgh, PA, great-nieces, Emma, Hazel and Phoebe. 

Paul had a ready smile, quick wit and an infectious laugh, which we will all miss. He was quite the conversationalist and was able to engage on almost any topic. He was an avid fan of sports and particularly Syracuse University. He loved spending time with family and friends. 

Family will greet friends from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm on Friday, January 30th followed by a service at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, North Syracuse. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Jamesville, NY. 

In lieu of flowers please make contributions to Volunteers in Police Services for Town of Cicero, 6200 State Route 31, Cicero, NY 13039.
