Penny Elaine (Monday) Mutter

Penny Elaine Mutter (Monday) passed away on August 20, 2025, from a lengthy illness. She is survived by daughters Jessica Nieves (Monday) and Kathleen Monday, grandson Brayden Flannery, sisters Patti Monday and Kathy Monday, brother Earl Monday and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother Patricia "Barbara Kilbourne, brothers Michael Johnson and Charles Monday and sister Debra Monday.

She was passionate about gardening and crafting. An avid sports fan who loved watching Little League World Series, the Georgia Bulldogs, NY Yankees, and Green Bay Packers. she enjoyed coaching not only her daughter's softball teams but also her grandsons Little League team. She was an umpire with District 8 League for most of her life. 

Calling hours will be September 4, 2025, from 5-7pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street North Syracuse, NY 13212. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the CNY SPCA.
