Ralph F Hanley, 98, of Brewerton, passed away peacefully on April 30th. He was born September 17, 1927. Ralph was a truck driver for Packaging Corp and owned his own construction company.
He was a dedicated firefighter with the Brewerton Fire Department for 67 years and was a devoted member of Divine Mercy Church in Central Square and Saint Agnes Church in Brewerton. He was an active member of the seniors club in Central Square.
He is predeceased by his wife Mary Hanley and daughter Patricia and Jim Schoolcraft.
He is survived by his daughter Anna and Larry Grunder, grandchildren Carrie and Christopher Schoolcraft, Albert and Todd Farnsworth, and Coby and Debbie Grunder, as well as 17 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6th from 4pm-6pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home 209 N. Main Street North Syracuse, NY 13212. A funeral mass will be held the following day on May 7th at 9:30am at the Divine Mercy Parish in Central Square. Burial will immediately follow at Pine Plains Cemetery in Clay.
