Richard A. Brann

Richard A. Brann, 87, of Port Charlotte, FL and formerly Hastings, NY, passed away at his home August 16, 2022. Born July 30, 1935, he is survived by his wife of 62 years, Carol Strobeck Brann; his children, Lisa (Paul) Maurer, David (Michele) Brann, Linda Clark (René Flores), Daryl (Dianna) Brann, twelve grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Richard served in the United States Army, Secret Service division, taught numerous apprentice school classes and owned and operated C&L Glass Company until his retirement. He enjoyed card games, watching sporting events, being outdoors and spending time with his family.

Calling hours will be September 2, 2022 from 11am-12pm at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home with a service to follow at 12pm. Interment with military honors will follow in North Syracuse Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
