Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Richard liked fishing, listening to music, and being with his family.
Richard C. Kalkbrenner, 66, passed away at home in the care of Hospice of CNY.
Richard was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Dorothy Kalkbrenner, his daughter Susan A., a son Richard C., Jr., a granddaughter Dililah, and a grandson Demetrious Kalkbrenner.
Richard leaves behind a wife of 45 years Susan M. (Savastano), two daughters, Kimberly Kalkbrenner and Sharon (John) Massett, one son, Matthew Kalkbrenner, several grandchildren, Deziree, Delanah, Desmend, Dillen, Dalton, Giovannia, Salvatore, Lilyana Kalkbrenner, Gianna, Michael Albino, Sianna, Isabella, Victoria, Johny, Roselia (peanut) Massett, a great granddaughter Amelia Massett, step grandson Matthew Dumont, a brother Thomas Kalkbrenner, 3 sisters Ida (Ken) King, Linda (Jerry) Masterpol, Debbie (James) Braun, several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
I would like to thank Dr. James Tucker and Jill McDonald for over 30 years of care, Penny and others from Hospice of CNY, the Chaplain for his prayer for Richard before he left us, as well as Upstate University Hospital that took care of him while he was in their care.
