Ruth Eva Adams

Ruth E Tuttle Adams, 94, of North Syracuse, passed away on March 18, 2024 following a brief illness. Ruth was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, George W Adams, Jr. Ruth was the daughter of Waldred and Eva Cook Tuttle and lived in the Syracuse area for her lifetime. Ruth worked for Bell Telephone as a phone operator and fraud investigator. She enjoyed golf, cruises, traveling, tending to her flowers and spending time with friends and family. Ruth made an impression on everyone she met with her warm smile and generous spirit.

Ruth is survived by her loving family including her children, Glenn (Cathie), Michael (Dawn Hopkins), Elaine (Richard) Huff, Gary (Katherine), George and Robert (Sandi Scott); her siblings, Everett Tuttle, Linda Karpouzes and Carol Tuttle; her grandchildren, Kristin Stevenson, Kimberly Kennedy, Samantha Wetherson, Christopher Adams, Elizabeth Adams as well as great grandchildren, Dontay, Raegan, Quinn, Denver, Willow, Peyton, Calvin and Brooklyn. Ruth was predeceased by her siblings Joan Fryman and James Tuttle as well as Patricia O’Mara who was like part of the family. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
