Sandra Kelley Epolito, 66, passed away on November 15 at her home in Eastwood. Sandy was born in Syracuse, NY to Edward and Barbara (Flynn) Kelley.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sister Barbara (Kelley) Waris, her brother-in-law Robert Licata, and her beloved dog, Sophie.
Sandy grew up in Lyncourt with her six sisters. She graduated from Nottingham High School and soon met her future husband, John Epolito. Together they raised a beautiful family. Sandy worked for many years at AT&T. After retiring she kept busy gardening, reading, and joining her sisters for lunch or to go to the movies. She also enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino. In the last few years she had to deal with several medical issues which restricted her ability to get around. She was happiest when she was able to spend time with her beloved grandchildren.
Sandy is survived by her husband, John, her two children, Nicole (David) Hall and Timothy Epolito, grandchildren Samatha, Theo and Natalie Hall, sisters, Janice (Larry) Casciano, Nancy Licata, Patricia (Kevin) Kinsella, Karen (Jim) Serens, Maureen (Rob) Locaputo, brother-in-law William Waris and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held for the immediate family.
