Verna (Menkins) Noyes

Verna Menkins Noyes, 90, has peacefully passed away after a brief illness on April 15, 2024. She was a member of Daughters of the Nile-Ilderim Temple #15. She worked at Nichols Market for 15 years as night manager. She was teachers aide at Liverpool High School and taught adult education. She retired from Onondaga County Department of Social Services. 
 

She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Duane Don Noyes and her brothers, Harrison and William Menkins.

She is survived by her children, Diane Knapp and Thomas Noyes (Angela Wehrle), her grandchildren, Michael Knapp (Kamu), Amanda Ross (Nic), Daniel Notes ( Marlen) and great grandchildren, Madita, Arthur, Julius and Gregor Noyes, Gina and Maya Wehrle, Evan and Connor Ross and Elliot and Lula Knapp. 
 

Services will be held at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Vine St., Liverpool at 11am on June 8, 2024, with a luncheon to follow.
