Walter Petrashuk

Walter Petrashuk, 86, passed Thursday September 17th, 2020. He is predeceased by his wife, Vivian. He is survived by his children Lorena, Peter(Melissa), Barbara, Colleen, and Steven; grandchildren, Zachary (Valerie) and Emily Bezner; grandpups Snoopdogg, Dillon, Watson, and Evie; and his camp family at Deming's Trailer Park in Inlet.

Originally from Scranton, PA, he moved to Syracuse immediately after marrying Vivian to continue his career at American Airlines. He retired at 62 after more than 30 years of service. He enjoyed his summers at camp, winters in Myrtle Beach and Panama City, golfing, and watching all sports, especially SU. The family is appreciative of the loving care and support The Cottages provided to Walter and his family. Calling hours held at Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. on Monday September 21st from 5-7PM. 
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
